New Braunfels's German-style Christmas market, held indoors at the Civic/Convention Center with 60+ merchants. Nov 20–22, 2026; $15 admission.
The Weihnachtsmarkt (say it "vy-nocks-markt") has been held in New Braunfels since 1988, and it nods to the town's German founders. It is a three-day indoor Christmas market at the New Braunfels Civic/Convention Center, with more than 60 merchants and artisans selling holiday decorations, gifts, clothing, specialty foods and antiques.
The market is the main fundraiser for the Sophienburg Museum & Archives, the town's history museum, so the admission ticket goes to a good cause. It opens with a ticketed gala on Thursday evening, November 19, with dinner, a bar, live music and first pick of the merchants.
There are also small ticketed events during the weekend, such as a children's event with Santa. Since it is indoors, it's a good choice for a cold or wet weekend.
