Boerne's Thanksgiving-weekend street festival: Christmas markets, a tree lighting, Santa and kids' snow slides along Main Street. Nov 27–28, 2026.
Dickens on Main closes Boerne's Main Street on the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving and splits it into four themed "villages." Two of them, North Pole Village at Main Plaza and Dickens Village at 157 S Main, hold Christmas markets with vendors and food from noon to 9 pm both days.
The rest is for families: inflatables and crafts for kids from mid-afternoon, a snow slide and an ice slide after 6 pm, Santa visits from 3 to 8 pm at Tiny Tim Village on East San Antonio Avenue, stage shows and readings by the Boerne Community Theatre, and the town's tree lighting at 6 pm on Friday. A few attractions, such as the trackless train, cost extra.
Boerne is about 30 minutes up I-10 from San Antonio.
