About Farms & Fairs

Farms & Fairs is an independent guide to seasonal family outings in the United States: pumpkin patches and corn mazes, apple and berry picking, Christmas tree farms and light displays, splash pads, craft fairs, holiday markets and festivals.

We started it because the information families need (is it open this weekend, how much does it cost, can we bring the dog) is scattered across dozens of farm websites and Facebook pages, and often out of date. We pull it together, check it, and show you when we last checked.

Who we are

Farms & Fairs is run by a small editorial team. We research every listing ourselves and work with local contributors who visit places in person. We are not owned by, and do not represent, any farm, event or tourism board.

How we make money

The site is free to use. We earn money from display advertising and from optional featured listings, which are always labeled "Featured". Payment never changes what we write or whether a place is listed. See our editorial standards.
