Free outdoor artisan market in Gruene's historic district, with nearly 100 makers. Holiday editions Nov 21–22 and Dec 5–6, 2026, 10 am–5 pm.
Gruene Market Days has been held in the Gruene Historic District of New Braunfels for more than 30 years. Nearly 100 artisans set up in front of the Gruene Coffee Haus with handmade goods and packaged Texas foods, and entry and parking are free.
The market runs most months of the year, but the last two editions fall in the gift-buying season: November 21–22 and December 5–6, 2026, from 10 am to 5 pm each day. It is smaller and calmer than the big city markets and a good place to find a handmade present.
Make an afternoon of it: Gruene's old shops, wine tasting rooms and Gruene Hall, the old dance hall, are a few steps away, and there is free live music in the district.
