Boerne's first December weekend: a ticketed Stocking Stroll through 19 downtown shops, a wassail walk and the Weihnachts Parade. Dec 4–5, 2026.
A week after Dickens on Main, Boerne holds its Weihnachts Weekend on Friday and Saturday, December 4 and 5, along the Hill Country Mile, the town's historic Main Street. It's a quieter, shop-by-shop weekend rather than a street festival.
The Stocking Stroll runs both days from 10 am to 5 pm. You buy a ticket in advance, pick up a holiday shopping bag (the "stocking"), and collect a small gift at each of the 19 participating shops and businesses as you walk downtown. Tickets are limited: 100 go on sale at 7 am and another 100 at 7 pm on Tuesday, November 10, with a limit of five per person. Ticket and bag pick-up is at the Boerne Visitors Center, 282 N Main St, on weekdays from November 18 to December 3 (closed November 26–27), or at the event. The proceeds help fund Dickens on Main.
On Friday evening, local businesses serve their own wassail and carolers compete along Main Street from 4 to 8 pm. On Saturday at 6 pm, the 39th Weihnachts Parade brings nearly 100 floats down Main Street; bring a chair if you want to sit. Shops and restaurants stay open late both evenings.
