Indoor walk-through attraction carved from ice at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. The 2026 theme is Harry Potter.
ICE! is the Gaylord Texan Resort's big holiday attraction on Lake Grapevine: a walk-through exhibit of large ice carvings in a hall kept well below freezing. In past years the resort handed out parkas at the entrance and the visit ended with ice slides; bring gloves and a hat either way. For 2026 the carvings are themed on Harry Potter.
Because everything is indoors, it is a good plan when the Texas weather doesn't cooperate. The resort sells other holiday activities around it as separate tickets.
Tickets are timed and sold through the resort's holiday site. Weekends and the week before Christmas sell out first. We had not confirmed 2026 prices directly with the resort when we checked.
