Garden light show and a Christmas-decorated McCormick House at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, on select evenings in late November and December 2026.
Cantigny Park in Wheaton, in the western suburbs, turns its gardens into an evening light show for Christmas. The illuminated path runs beneath big trees and through the garden rooms, with music and displays along the way. You can also go inside McCormick House, the former home of Colonel Robert R. McCormick, decorated for Christmas with hundreds of poinsettias grown at Cantigny.
It's open on select evenings in late November and December. Admission varies by date; booking early saves money and includes free parking (an $11 value). On November 22 and 29 and December 6, 13 and 27, the park runs a special 'Marvelous Christmas at Cantigny' evening; other open nights have the regular light show. Extras for 2026 include a candlelit tour of McCormick House ($75) and fireside s'mores ($35).
