The University of the Incarnate Word's 40th Light the Way festival lights up its Broadway campus on Sat, Nov 21, 2026, 3–9 pm.
Light the Way is the University of the Incarnate Word's holiday festival on its campus at 4301 Broadway, in Alamo Heights next to Brackenridge Park. The university switches on the campus Christmas lights at the festival, and the afternoon and evening are filled with music on stage, food and shopping stalls.
2026 is the 40th festival, held on Saturday, November 21, from 3 to 9 pm, so it is one of the first big lighting events of the San Antonio season, a week before the River Walk lights go on.
The university posts the schedule, the map, parking and ride-share details on the festival website. We did not see a ticket price there, but check before you go, along with parking, since it is a busy night around Broadway.
