Cut-your-own tree farm on US-69 in Greenville, northeast of Dallas, open into the evening, with a walk-through Trail of Lights for $10.
Kadee Farm is on US Highway 69 just outside Greenville, about an hour northeast of downtown Dallas. Families walk the cut-your-own fields to choose a tree, and unlike most farms around Dallas it stays open until 8 pm, so you can come after school or work.
After dark the farm runs a Trail of Lights, a walking path through holiday light displays, Tuesday to Sunday evenings. It costs $10 a person and children 3 and under get in free. A snack shack sells treats and hot drinks, and the farm also books family photo sessions in the fields ($40 per family, by reservation).
