Drive-thru light show synced to music in the Typhoon Texas parking lot in Katy. Stay in your car and tune the radio.
The Light Park sets up a drive-thru light show in the Typhoon Texas waterpark lot off Katy Fort Bend Road. You stay in your car and tune your radio to hear the music that the light displays are synced to; a loop takes about half an hour depending on the line.
Tickets are sold per car and are cheaper on weeknights and when bought in advance. It runs every night, rain or shine, and stays open an hour later over Thanksgiving weekend and the week before Christmas. Weekend nights in December have the longest lines; arriving right at 5:30 helps.
