Double Creek Farm

Double Creek Farm is on Oakdale Loop near Livingston, northeast of Houston past Lake Houston. Families can cut Virginia pine or Carolina Sapphire cypress, or pick a pre-cut Fraser, balsam or concolor fir or a blue spruce. Fresh wreaths sell until they are gone.

The farm leans into family fun, with hayrides, a hay jump, playhouses and a fort, a train ride and a gift shop. It is about an hour and a half from central Houston, so treat it as a half-day trip rather than a quick stop. Sunday hours start at 1 pm.
