Independent makers' market at the Bridgeport Art Center, Dec 18–20, 2026: Fri 5–8 pm, Sat–Sun 11 am–5 pm. A late option for last-minute gifts.
Renegade Craft runs markets of independent makers and designers across the US, and its Chicago winter market is one of the last big gift markets before Christmas. It's held at the Bridgeport Art Center on the South Side.
The 2026 market is on December 18–20: Friday 5 to 8 pm, and Saturday and Sunday 11 am to 5 pm. The organizers suggest the Friday evening if you want to avoid the crowds.
The venue has a parking lot and step-free entry with an elevator between its two floors. By transit, take the CTA Red Line to Sox-35th, then walk about three blocks west, or take bus 35 or 39.
