More than 100 independent makers and small brands at Fair Market in East Austin, Dec 12–13, 2026, 11 am–5 pm. Ticketed; kids under 12 free.
Markets for Makers is a curated market of independent makers, artists and small brands, and its Austin holiday edition brings more than 100 of them to Fair Market, the event space on East 5th Street. There are DIY stations as well as the stalls.
The 2026 market is on Saturday and Sunday, December 12–13, from 11 am to 5 pm. Tickets are priced by arrival time (from 11 am, 1 pm or 3 pm), and each includes a market tote; children under 12 are free. Tickets at the door are card only, though some vendors take cash.
Fair Market has no dedicated parking lot. The organizers suggest nearby garages, or rideshare. The same weekend as the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar and Merry on Main in Bastrop, it's easy to make a full shopping weekend of it.
