Small Business Saturday shopping in downtown Bastrop with wassail tastings at the shops, Sat, Nov 28, 2026, 3–7 pm. Free.
Wassail Fest is Bastrop's Small Business Saturday celebration. Shops along Main Street and around downtown stay open late and each serves its own wassail, the hot spiced holiday drink, while you browse handmade gifts, decor, fashion, art and home goods. At the end you vote for your favorite recipe in the People's Choice Awards.
The 2026 Wassail Fest is on Saturday, November 28, from 3 to 7 pm. It's free to take part.
The River of Lights along the Colorado River opens the night before, so after 6 pm you can walk down to the riverwalk to see it.
