Stone Mountain Christmas is the holiday season at Stone Mountain Park, east of Atlanta: more than two million lights, holiday shows, a Christmas parade, a Musical Frosted Forest and the park's Scenic Railroad, plus a drone and light show in the evening.
In 2026–27 it's open on weekends and holidays from November 7 to January 3, 2027. The parade starts at 6 pm, and the drone show starts in the evening (8:20 pm on most nights, earlier on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve). You need an Attractions ticket or an annual membership to see the drone and light show. Parking is sold separately from tickets.
It's a full-day outing rather than a quick look at lights. Arrive in the afternoon, do the attractions, and stay for the parade and the drone show.
